Ghanaian Reggae/dancehall and Afro beats musician, Kojo Kurankye, popularly known as Ras Kuuku, has classified most Ghanaian music as garbage.
According to him, these songs do not have any positive impact on the people who listen to it and doesn’t make any sense.
Speaking to Dr. Cann on Happy FM’s “Showbiz Xtra”, he said most people patronize his songs because when compared with other songs, his is better than those songs hence they go in for his.
People patronize my song because when they compare my music to the ‘borla’, they prefer mine. A lot of songs are ‘borla’ songs because they do not have any impact on our thoughts unlike my songs,” he said.
