She is probably the most popular Ghanaian model of all time by virtue of how widespread her iconic photo has been used and continues to be used.
You will find her in the offices and Homes of Presidents, Ministers, MPs, Foreign dignitaries, and ordinary citizens in a nice frame with a nice ‘kente’ background and the inscription ‘Akwaaba’ boldly written above her picture.
After 20 years, the lady who has been identified as Angelina Oduro has gone before the camera for the first time to share her story.
The picture she says was taken in 1999 when she was just a teenager and a model. It went viral, that’s to put it in modern parlance and still widely seen everywhere.
