Actress and model Rosemond Alade Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo has revealed why she waited several hours to meet American rapper, Cardi B.

The Grammy-winning rapper was billed to headline Livespot X Festival in Accra, Ghana on Sunday, December 8th.

Ahead of the much anticipated concert, the organisers arranged for a meet and greet with local celebrities in the West African country.

Ghanaian celebrities including Afia Schwarzenegger, Efia Odo, Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, Lydia Forson, Hajia4real, Bullet, Wendy Shay, Akuapem Poloo, Victoria Lebene, Moesha Boduong among others honoured the invite. However, after several hours of waiting there was no-show.

In a conversation with Halifax Ansah Addo on Okay FM’s ‘Best Entertainment Show’ on Monday, she said she loves Cardi B to the moon and back.

”Halifax, I love Cardi B. I was so ready for her, I had wanted to see her so there was no way I would have given up on seeing her face to face. I would have collapsed and died if had not seen Cardi.” Akuapem Poloo stated.

American rapper and actress Cardi B has disclosed that she really miss Nigeria just after arriving back in the States.

The controversial rapper was in Africa for the LiveSpot X Festival’s in Ghana and Nigeria, and she seemed to have so much fun in Nigeria, before heading to Ghana after her first show in Lagos.

The fun continued for her in Ghana. Moments after arriving in the West African country, she took to her social media page to treat her fans to a tour of her hotel room.

“Oh snap, we are going to turn up today. I want to bring the baddest b****** to my room, this room is far too big not to have a party,’ she exclaimed while walking around the plush room with a hotel rep and her entourage.”

Cardi B’s insta Story suggests that she had more fun in Nigeria than in Ghana.

Cardi B was blasted by some Ghanaian socialites after they claimed that she snubbed them in a supposed ‘Meet and Greet’ session with her.

A lot of people have waded into the brouhaha including Afia Schwarzenegger, Abeiku Santana, Sandra Ankobia, Jay Foley and among others.

The latest to add her voice is controversial actress Xandy Kamel.

Speaking in an interview with Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ show on some of the issues that popped up when the retired str*pper came to Ghana on Sunday, December 8, she revealed that a deal her current boss wanted to have with Cardi B failed because her charges were outrageous.

Xandy further disclosed that for a simple endorsement video, Cardi B and her management told her boss, who has a relationship with them back in America, that

they were going to charge them not less than $150,000.
