An armed robber identified as Ernest Akorli has been shot dead after raping and killing a lady at Kwayease in the Bono East Region

A notorious armed robber identified as Ernest Akorli alias Jerigoji has been reportedly shot dead by the Police after raping an killing a 20-year-old lady at Kwayease a suburb in Yeji in the Bono East Region.

According to reports, the crime took place on Wednesday when Jerigoji sexually assaulted a 20-year-old lady and killing her after he tied up the boyfriend of this lady in order to have his way.

Ernest Akorli was described by the police as a notorious armed robber who used to petrifying the people of Yeji until Monday he was gunned down by the police.

Akorli who escaped after the crime was being pursued by the police after they had intelligence of his location.

Reports say that when he was being chased by the police, Akorli opened fire on them which led the officers to also fire back leading to his death.

Sup. Thomas Owuahene who is the District Police Commander in Yeji has issued a strong warning to other criminals in the vicinity to quit the crimes or face the same fate as Akorli.

This was sighted in a post by Zionfelix on Instagram. Mr. James Benjamin Aggrey reportedly died at age 81.

Zionfelix posted a picture of Santana and his dad with the caption; “Abeiku Santana loses father, James Benjamin Aggrey. James Benjamin Aggrey dies at age 81″.
