About 45 persons are in the grips of the Police in Dzodze in the Volta Region for ignoring the President’s directive on public gatherings.

The 45, who are all residents of the town flouted the directive by holding an Easter Sunday jam on April 12, 2020.

The Municipal Chief Executive (DCE) for the area, John Avorgbedor told the media that the youth were in a party mood when they were arrested.

Most of them were swimming at the time the security personnel stormed the venue to arrest them.

The suspects, including a nursing mother have since been cautioned and released on bail.

The owner of the Guest House where the party went on is in the grips of the police.

“Some are adhering to the directives but some are not taking it seriously, they have never heard about the plague before. We will let them go home any moment from now but we will caution them, the owner of the place will sleep here, we’ve warned him but he failed to adhere so he will sleep at the cell until tomorrow,” he said.

When this lockdown started the president made us understand that is was for two weeks now due to some reasons there has been an additional one week to the period.

In view of this AMG Boss Criss addle alongside his godson Medikal have decided to feed about 500 Ghanaians during the extension period.

One thing he added was that the feeding would reach anyone regardless they having love for their team or not.

Wife of Medikal, Fella Makafui has debunked a post going viral on social media which claims she jabbed President Nana Addo for wearing cheap clothes to address the nation which incurred the wrath of Ghanaians.

Below is the post making rounds in her name on social media and some replies from fans and followers;

Taking to her Instagram page, Fella Makafui claims she doesn’t have a Facebook page and that the only social media handle she has are Instagram and Twitter.

She wrote:

It has come to the notice of my Management and I that a Facebook Page bearing my name and images has been posting politically sensitive material and has succeeded in fooling the General Public that I am the one behind it. This is rather unfortunate at best and criminal at worst.

I have in the past stated on various Platforms, that I DO NOT have a Facebook Page nor do I publicly subscribe to any political affiliations. The said Page is not managed nor owned by me or any member of my Management team. I totally disassociate myself from the said Page and the Post in question.
Management is doing everything to not only have the page taken down but also find out who is behind this as this is tantamount to Impersonation; which is a criminal offense.
