‘VGMA Board Members Are Broke, I Can Pay Them Every Month’- Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale has gone bananas again on Charterhouse, organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards concerning his ban.

The organisers, in the aftermath of the fight which erupted at the last edition of the VGMAs between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, banned them indefinitely plus other sanctions.

Furthermore, the CEO of Charterhouse, Madam Theresa Ayoade recently said it’s time the media shift its focus from the two Dancehall heavyweights and concentrate on other artists.

Can we go back to doing what we do best which is reporting about the industry and what’s happening in the industry?

This might have incensed Shatta Wale who came for the organisers in a new post on Facebook.

“The Board Members, all of you are poor people.  What I possess, none of you has, I can pay all of you every month,”  he lashed out.

“You don’t have anything. Most of them are disappointed musicians. You don’t know God.”

“You guys don’t think, You are fools.”

Remember this is what Shatta Wale used to do in the last, always attacking Charterhouse which led to his blacklisting until recently when he was pardoned.

‘VGMA Ban Stonebwoy , Joe Mettle And Shatta Wale’

Former VGMA Artist of the Year Winner, Joe Mettle has observed the ban imposed on Stonebwoy and Shatta was the main factor that brought unity between the two former enemies.

He also noted that their exclusion from this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) owing to the ban is unfair because to himz they have learnt their lessons.

Speaking in an interview on TV3’s New Day with Johnnie Hughes, Joe Mettle explained that the ban has served its purpose as both artistes have ironed out their differences.

” I think both artistes have been able to come together to fix their differences and I’m sure whatever was between them is fine now. I think when they were banned, the organizers weren’t sure the artistes could fix this and I think the ban helped in pushing them into the direction they’ve been able to get to.” Joe Mettle said.
